As a pastor and preacher and teacher of GOD’s Word my personal preaching mission statement is- “When I preach GOD’s Word I do it to teach and educate, motivate and encourage, and to convict and hold people accountable for their sins. I do this by touching the mind with logic and reason, pulling on the heart strings of their feelings and emotions, and pouring into their soul's Biblical truth and wisdom in order to see lost/dead sinners saved and saved sinners strengthened.”

My primary purpose for preaching and teaching GOD’s Word is not to make anyone feel good, nor is it to heal anyone from their worldly pains and sufferings.

Though those things may be the secondary results of me preaching and teaching GOD’s Word they are not the primary purpose.

But rather, it is to teach people GOD’s Word in order to get them think about the deeper implications and ramifications of GOD’s Word and how it (GOD’s Word), and what it (GOD’s Word) teaches, applies to their-

1. Relationship with/to GOD/Jesus Christ.

2. Relationship with other Christian believers.

3. Living out their life and faith in a sinful fallen world that is naturally hostile towards GOD, His Word, and their Christian faith.

4. How to successfully fulfill the Great Commission by making new disciples of Jesus Christ through evangelizing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, baptizing new believers in Jesus Christ, and discipling those new believers so that they can spiritually grow and mature and participate in fulfilling the Great Commission as well.

5. And to see lost/dead sinners repent of their sins and place their faith in Jesus Christ as their LORD and Savior.
